I just installed these running boards onto my QX60... makes it much easier for my 4-yr old to get into the car.
Awesome! She looks great! Love the new QX60 grillJust wanted to take a moment to thank those on the thread for the information about these running boards. I was able to order a set. It arrived last wednesday and the box appeared very damaged, but the boards were in fine shape. The mounting brackets were all engraved with the appropriate positions. The directions could have been organized better and some of the L brackets had to be shaved down on the back side to allow it to slip through the frame openings. Based on some reviews, they indicated that the vendor was able to provide better L brackets for the QX upon request so it may be something to consider.
All in all, it took me about 4 hours on my own, and the end product seems very nice, considering the overall cost.

I had the same issue as you. The running boards were too short. I took a look at the the Amazon listing and noticed the picture didn't match the actual running board. The flap on the back of the running board was missing. I've compared a picture of your running board and the one from the Amazon listing to show you the difference, which I circled in red. It seems like the running boards that are missing the flap are shorter and probably from a different manufacturer.I have a 2013 JX35 and this past March found this web-site and ordered the running boards from Amazon. They have just arrived a month later into Ukraine where I reside. It took two guys, three hours and $20 to install.
My question to everybody here is: as you look at the pictures I posted how come my running boards are shorter than y'all's?!?!
(My guys said and I looked for myself- this is the only way to install them if using the holes already there, not drilling or bending any metal). Thank you all anyway as either way I like the looks and functionality of my purchase. Like my Infiniti too))
Just installed my RB's yesterday. Use the same link as the OP and after 4hrs it came out great! However, they did not come with the flaps you're talking about. I did push in the RB's closer to the frame to eliminate the gap. Overall I'm happy with them. Will post pictures later...I had the same issue as you. The running boards were too short. For those with the running board, I want to give you a "heads up"
I've I had my board installed for over a year now and everything is well but when I did my brake pads this weekend. I just realized something that may/may not affect you.
First off. Being in the NE, I did notice that the bolts are getting rusted. I would suggest maybe checking up on them every year.
Now for the issue. For the rear side step brackets. They are mounted very close to the jack point for the rear. So if you do have to use the factory jack for emergency and are trying to get the car up using the suggest jack point, you won't be able to. The bracket will have to be removed first.
Hello! For us, we did notice there was some hanging here and there but yes, we went back and adjusted the brackets so that they would look level throughout. For me, I was a bit anal with it all so it took me a little longer as I actually used a ruler to make sure both sides were even. Haha. Good luck!Hello everyone,
I'm halfway done with the install and wanted to ask those with running boards installed if they noticed that the rear end of the running boards appears to hang lower on the driver's side? That's the side I have installed so far. I just wanted to know whether i need to go back and re-adjust everything to make it level.
Thanks
