I just installed these running boards onto my QX60... makes it much easier for my 4-yr old to get into the car.
Hey everyone! Just wanted to say a quick hello and to extend my thanks to all of you and especially to tsk_2980 for your first post regarding these running boards.

I wound up ordering the ones you had (from the link) and we just installed them. They look fantastic and it is so much easier for my son to get in and out of the car. Now I don't have to panic every time he jumps in and scuffs the weathertech mats. Lol.

Thanks again for everyone's input as I used it exclusively when I decided to add these running boards.

Take care!

If you read through the thread, it doesn't interfere with the mud flaps. Once it gets a little warmer, I'm ordering these off Amazon.
Yes, we can confirm that it doesn't interfere as you can adjust it slightly front to back and side to side. We moved ours so that the end lines up nicely with the door.

Good luck!

HI! We are thinking about getting a QX60 2015 or 2016 with the driver assist package. I am really short ~5' and have 2 small children. I want to add running boards but we are concerned if we add the running boards will it impact any of the sensors? Any experience with this? Thank you in advance. C
Our car is fully loaded with this package as well and our sensors are not affected at all with these additional running boards. :)

I read through this whole thread and found a ton of information about installing boards for my Infiniti. I am vertically challenged (short/petite) and I have a 6 & 4 year old. I purchased the boards recommended from Amazon. They were delivered in under 24 hours, and it was not even a Prime purchase. My local auto body shop charged ~$200 for installation. The kids and I are thrilled.
Excellent! She looks great! :)

Just wanted to take a moment to thank those on the thread for the information about these running boards. I was able to order a set. It arrived last wednesday and the box appeared very damaged, but the boards were in fine shape. The mounting brackets were all engraved with the appropriate positions. The directions could have been organized better and some of the L brackets had to be shaved down on the back side to allow it to slip through the frame openings. Based on some reviews, they indicated that the vendor was able to provide better L brackets for the QX upon request so it may be something to consider.

All in all, it took me about 4 hours on my own, and the end product seems very nice, considering the overall cost.

Awesome! She looks great! Love the new QX60 grill :)

Hello everyone,

I'm halfway done with the install and wanted to ask those with running boards installed if they noticed that the rear end of the running boards appears to hang lower on the driver's side? That's the side I have installed so far. I just wanted to know whether i need to go back and re-adjust everything to make it level.

Thanks
Hello! For us, we did notice there was some hanging here and there but yes, we went back and adjusted the brackets so that they would look level throughout. For me, I was a bit anal with it all so it took me a little longer as I actually used a ruler to make sure both sides were even. Haha. Good luck! :)
