I have a 2013 JX35 and this past March found this web-site and ordered the running boards from Amazon. They have just arrived a month later into Ukraine where I reside. It took two guys, three hours and $20 to install.
My question to everybody here is: as you look at the pictures I posted how come my running boards are shorter than y'all's?!?!
(My guys said and I looked for myself- this is the only way to install them if using the holes already there, not drilling or bending any metal). Thank you all anyway as either way I like the looks and functionality of my purchase. Like my Infiniti too))

The length of the running boards do look slightly short, but certainly not bad at all. If anything, you could add mud guards behind the front wheel well to close the gap. But overall, looks great... cool to see it on a silver body.

Since you're the one who started the trend I owe a 'thank you'))) Appreciate the time and effort to tell us all about these running boards.
I still can't wrap my mind around the fact how short these running boards are in comparison. May be European market JXs are longer body??))
And as for the mud guards - I certainly gave it much thought and too think they would improve the overall look and close the gap, however since they are plastic and do make the vehicle clearance even lower I'd be afraid to break them coming off the high curbs and hitting deep holes in our country, so I refrained from installing all four of them.
I have to admit that without the mud guards and the running boards this SUV looks sportier, and more respectable with all of them. Well, it's a family hauler anyway)))
So, once again - thanks!

Yes, I got them within a week, but I couldn't install them due to a bad bolt plate. The thread was missing in the end. I worked with Amazon customer service, they send me a pair and I am good to go. Installed them in about 4 hours, which includes a trip to Ace hardware...

Different lengths?

We have a 2013 JX35 with mud flaps, and I'm a little skeptical about ordering these. It seems everyone has different sizes. I'd like mine to fit from the edge of the wheel well to a edge of the mud flaps.

Do these slide from side to side, and that's why they look so different?

Mayoo 's look perfect with the mud flaps.

Ek_lion' s look very short.

Nismosr vs look like they are perfect is he had mud flaps.

Jasper looks longer than others.

The ones in the picture on the Amazon listing looks too short.

What's up with all of these?

Did everyone order from Amazon?

Yes, I ordered my from Amazon. Exact same link provided by others.

Yes, you can slide it from front to back. For me, I slide to it to as front as possible. I still have about 1.5 inches stick out at the rear.

I suspected the car is a little different in length base on the year. Mine is year 2015.

I find it hard to believe that that 2013, 2014, and the 2015 have different body lengths.

I have a 2013 jx35, but it was a late 2013. Almost a 2014. It even have the new tranny in it even though it was a 13.

I placed the order. Hopefully it's the right length, because if it's that long on yours, it won't fit on mine with the mud flaps on it.

Mayoo,

Good to see that yours is fitting perfectly. Just curious, do you have mud guard at the front?

For mine, I push the running board as close to the front mud guard as possible. But, still stick out a bit at the rear.
Yes i have mud guard at front. ill post better pics shortly ..

Mine was 2013 JX35 built on June 2013. I have the new tranny. i think you should be fine

I installed these running boards on my 2015 QX60 Hybrid last Sunday.

I ran into the same problem as Jasper with the Passenger Side Front Support Bar. Rather than leave it out entirely, I flipped it around and it was able to clear the thin black pipes (which I suspect house some wiring re: Driver Assist option on the vehicle, which is why not everyone has this problem.) I realize the steel is not as strong in this position than the intended way, but I thought it would be better than nothing. See photo.

My running boards seem to be just a bit short, but it still looks okay, since the chrome lines up pretty well with the chrome accent on the door above.

Oh, and some of the bolt plates had to be grinded down a bit to make them pass completely into the holes. Luckily, we have a power grinder on the workbench, so it was easy. But a dremmel (sp?) could do the trick, too.

Now, we're ready for my 86 year old mother-in-law next week!

Just finished the installation. For those who is planning to install the Running Boards, here are a few experience that might help.
...
2. The Passenger Side Front support bar cannot be installed. It was blacked my some pipe. See pictures 2 and 3. I decided to not install this piece and I hope it is ok.

3. The Running Board is about 1.5 inches too long for the QX60. Not a big deal. See picture 4.

I hope this information will be useful for others that are planning to install.

Jasper.
