I feel the pain here too. Folding mirror and the proximity lock seems so basic not to have in a vehicle of this price range. I am wondering if a system like compustar would add some of these functionality. It seem to have the proximity lock but not sure if the folding mirror is a feature. And yes it sucks to have to invest more if you want these features. Personally its just things I am accustomed to.

I bought 2023 QX60 for my wife’s 50th birthday. Yes, I agreed mirrors do not fold.
Infinity keeps saying this is normal, I hear a LOUD Clunk sound when I shift the to Drive and Revers. I know this is not normal.
So, when I reverse and stop, switch to Driver as soon I apply Brake, I hear a LOUD clunk sound and vis versa. Has anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yes, I have it. It showed up after 4500 miles of driving, loud clunk when I change direction from reverse to Drive and vise versa. One dealership said it's normal and refused to check it out. Other dealership said will check it out next time you bring the vehicle for service. Cars used to do that in the old days when the brake pad clips are not installed correctly, bad, or missing (fall). However, on a premium new design 2024 car, its not acceptable!

If you live/work in a busy city, you would understand.n
It seems that infinity doesn’t have a product team. They don’t check feedback. They don’t read on the Internet on the forums. Usually manufacturers look for that kind of feedback from the customer to implement in the following years just like what Acura did to the MDX and what Mazda is doing!

When a company goes down downhill, there should be a reason for it. I think now everybody knows why infinity went downhill.

Back in early 2013, shortly after I bought my new Infiniti JX35, the company sent out a crew to film me answering questions about the vehicle's design and user interface. It seemed like they genuinely cared about customer feedback on their latest JX35, which later became the QX60.

However, fast forward to today, and Infiniti seems to have lost its direction. They've discontinued their sedans, which were once the heart of the brand, and the QX50 isn't selling well. The QX80 is priced too high, and the QX60, their mainstay, won't see another refresh for five years. Moreover, Nissan/Infiniti lacks an electric vehicle to attract a new generation of buyers.

While I think the QX60 has a strong visual design, its technology falls behind the competition. I'm hopeful that the QX80's more advanced interface will be incorporated into the QX60 when it's refreshed in 2026.

AND auto-folding mirrors are included.

We bought a new 2023 QX Sensory. FIrst time Infiniti driver. Never thought to ask if side mirrors auto fold or if doors auto lock. The short, we'll trade back in 6 months to the Audi or Mercedes. Will not buy another Infiniti. Sounds silly. But, at 70K the auto market is wide open for other vehicles that have that as a standard option.

Also your car is not a $70K car lol. You own a mid level sensory model. Not even the Autograph and it’s a 2023 model…. Not sure where you came up with your numbers but your finance and dealer charges don’t make your car $70K. Not even a fully loaded 2025 Autograph reaches $70K

With tax and license its at 70K. Maybe that is what he's referring to. Also a Sensory is just below Autograph so its above mid level. We chose the Sensory because we hated the interior and split second row seats.

Brought a 70k suv for the folding mirrors not to fold automatically. Cmon Infiniti, it’s 2023 and you’re still wanting me to press the button to fold it myself. A simple update could address this request 😤

I don't get the importance of AUTO folding mirrors? After all there is a button to push.
My 2020 QX60 Pure was the first car I had with any type of power-folding mirrors. Living in NYC it was a great feature but from time to time you forget to hit the button to fold them when in a hurry. I no longer have that QX60 but have a Mazda CX-5 with auto folding mirrors and I love it. Test drove a 2025 QX60 Pure today and it still doesn't have auto-folding mirrors. Not a deal breaker as I like the car otherwise but was annoying to say the least.

I agree with what @yeller and @Rikkor said. More over, with the price of the car one would expect it to come with auto-folding side mirrors.
Another thing one would expect it to come with are courtesy rear door lights, but it doesn’t 🤯 in PURE or LUXE trims. How cheap can a company be to upcharge something so small and simply?!
Come on INFINITI, how can you say you’re competitors of LEXUS and ACURA.
