2015 qx60 with 251,000 miles. What it this bulletin and is it a warranty issue or recall? I see no outstanding recalls on nhtsa.

251k? Wow, that's a new record! I bet you kept up with a frequent and conservative maintenance schedule to keep everything running that long.

My 2014 QX60 just turned 181K. I was quoted $3,800 for the transfer case and $1,200 labor (book time is 11.5 hrs). I can find the part online anywhere from $350 - $975 and I can get a 2 yr. parts and labor .warranty through Allstate for $60. Why wouldn't I do that?
