Hi tsk_2980,
Thanks once again. I installed it on my QX60 back in November itself. Could not post the pictures. As everyone mentioned, I got the package with missing bolts and nuts. Per manual, all contents looked included. But during the installation I realized I needed a few more bolts and nuts. I had to go to hardware shop and got the missing ones and installed it. The seller refunded me some money. It took probably 8 hours for me to install - my be I was too slow :)

They look awesome, price - no one can beat. The dealer saw that and he could not believe. It really added style to the truck. Now my kid can get inside by himself. Everyone loves it. Worth the money and the time.

I would highly recommend this product. Attaching some pictures.

Thank you so much once again.
Our cars looks exactly alike. LOL

i just got mine installed and they are awesome. kids can climb in and out easily now. my set were also short the two 8mm bolts. And its not that they were missing, they are not even listed on the parts list. the parts list inventory has 6 of them and 6 are included. But to complete the install, you need 8 of them. Quick trip to homedepot and I was set.

I remember thinking the same thing

..."oh.it says i need 6, I have 6..buhahaha im so lucky, unlike them suckers on QX60.org"
...then during the drivers side install , "F*%k!, I'm missing two after-all!"

Installed mine yesterday. Took about 4-5 hours.

Good amount of time is reading the instructions and counting parts. YOU WILL BE MISSING 2 SETS of the 8mm bolts and nuts. You think it is complete, because the instruction manual matches, but you really need 2 more. Simple run to Home Depot to find closely matching hex bolts will do.

Tedious at first, but once you get the hang of it, it will be easy. Driver side was done in less than an hour without even looking at manual.

Great find by original poster!

Hi, Initially calculated total parts wrong, I was short on couple of 8mm washers and a bolt.. thats the reason went to Home Depot

thanks

Just received mine from Amazon. I want to get it done over the weekend. Im assuming Home Depot should have the missing parts so I don't have to wait for Amazon Seller to send me missing parts?

Any other tips you can give us to make it a smooth install?
