The installation went really quickly and well - a couple of screws and some clips and you're on your way! Forgot briefly about the "dummy" plug in the harness and couldn't figure out how those pieces were supposed to go together until that is removed... one of those "aha" moments when you're glad no one is watching you trying to figure out the simple stuff!

Just 8nstalled it earlier today. Looks great. Honestly the hardest part was locating the internal fuse box and that dummy clip which are not that big a deal. Thanks for the help and info.

Now I just have to find a buyer for the orig emblem lol

What tool did you use to open the plastic trim to get to the back of the emblem?

Quick update: I found a dealership with one on sale and ordered it. Should be here this weekend. 🤞🤞🤞

Mine was from Austin Infiniti right before Christmas (see above for pricing info) I would bet some dealership might be in the mood to discount this to get a sale done?
Start to finish was about 45 minutes for me...

Hold off if you want to save a few bucks. It's currently going for $400, but frequent 20% off coupons bring the price down to around $320.

We like the vehicle features ride and just about everything, our vehicle kept having issues with starting up, locking itself, check engine light and start/stop issues. We were able to document via video and had a regional corporate manager come out to the dealership to confirm the issues. Consumer affairs did its job and we are happy with the outcome. We will more than likely be buying a QX80 since at this point they are bulletproof.

They should give you the QX80 just for your troubles. Swap it out, highest trim, no questions. =)

Just installed it, took 20 minutes. Super easy, you need trim removal tool from Amazon($15). Very easy to locate the connecter, you cant go wrong. Got it for $305 during the infiniti parts sale 10 days ago
