Thanks everyone for sharing the information here. Its super helpful. I have also test driven both 2016 and 2017 models back to back and found that 2017 rides smoother and quieter and also the xtra hp & torque comes in handy while starting from a stop or when you need some quick acceleration. Based on my driving experience i decided i will go with 2017 even though the dealership offered 10k discount on 2016 model with deluxe tech package (jade green exterior with java interior)

I have couple of questions .Will I be able to get same or better discounts on 2017 in next May or so. Are these incentives something special for the year end? Also is it possible to swap the 20" tires in deluxe package for 18" and get some additional discount. I did some search online and most people are commenting that 20" are good only for looks and 18" offers more ride comfort and better pothole protection. I read some where that 20" offers better handling but not sure how true that statement is.
I live in NYC area and you cannot find potholes and more sh!++y roads anywhere in the country [unless if you live in NJ

] I had been driving my Murano for 5 years with 20" wheels and survived all the potholes and bumpy roads. Sure 18" tires would have soaked bumps a tiny little better but I enjoyed better handling and looks over comfort. Also it was primarily just me in the car all the time, it wasn't used as family vehicle.

Today when I picked my QX60 which also has 20" wheels I noticed it rides much smoother than Murano, of course it's new and more luxurious but my point is that even with 20" wheels there was noticeable difference in ride quality. I would suggest test drive both 18" and 20" version of the SUV on same road and notice the difference and decide which one you like better.

mission accomplished !

we finally picked up the car yesterday, 2017 QX60 with Premium Plus Package View Details+
Premium Package View Details+Driver Assistance Package View Details+Theater Package View Details for 51500 OTD, basically got 7500 off MSRP; thank-you everyone for sharing information; people around bay area get quotes from san jose inifiniti, there quotes were very aggressive.

All the best every one, now i am shopping for extended warranty anybody got a good price ? i was quoted 2700 for 8 years and 120k, is that a good price ?

Thanks

Congratulations!! Yeah I am interested in extended warranty as well. I was offered $32xx for 8/120k, so my decision will depends on cost. I think 3200 is too much. I paid $1150 for Toyota extended warranty for 8/100k for loaded Sienna. I think something under or around 2k should be reasonable for qx60. With Toyota I had full 3 years 36,000 miles to decide, but looks like that is not the case with Infiniti, the finance manager was telling me that the 3200 price is good from 0-6000 miles. Which means 8-12 months to me based on my current driving needs. Let me know if you come across any good deals.

Contact Circle infiniti (sherry.horelick at circleinfiniti.com) or Infiniti of Scottsdale( eliteprotectionplan at gmail.com ), they are the best for purchasing Extended Warranty plan and maintenance plan. Many in this forum bought it from them.

Just put a deposit down on a '17 QX60 with everything but the Theater package and including the tow package installed, carpet and winter mats and splash guards. Dealer sold it to me for $51,500. Now just have to wait until he find it

When we purchased the JX, our sales manager searched all over the country for the car we wanted and found it clear across the country. He took our car in trade-in and loaned us a brand new QX56 (now QX80) until our car came in. Since then, I've been very happy with Infiniti as a brand. I hope you get your's before Christmas.

When it arrives, make sure your salesman/woman goes over the entire check list and shows you all the features and how they work. You can start looking at the owner's manual on-line via PDF. Also make sure they help you set up the Infiniti Connection and Personal Assistant features and test them before you leave the dealership.

Manuals are located here: https://owners.infinitiusa.com/iowners/navigation/manualsAndGuides

Congratulations on your new QX60!

now, does anybody has experience shopping for the "MAINTENANCE' package? I am wondering if any of those really worth?
please share..

hey all, i'm new to the forums here, but have shopping for a new vehicle - which i'm thinking will be the 17 QX60. just a heads up, with the end of the year approaching, i got quoted a price for a Pearl White/Graphite, Premium, Premium +, Deluxe Tech packaged, MSRP $58,395 of $49,790.

been following this to see what i can hopefully negotiate the extended warranty for. the ultimate decision will come to what they're gonna offer me on my trade-in once i spring that on them. either way, throwing an FYI that >$50K is negotiable.

That's pretty good price. Good luck with your purchase!

That's an awesome price. I just negotiated my deal today on a 17 white/wheat technology and theater package. I was at 10% below msrp. But they gave me a very solid price on my trade in. I will be curious to hear how they treat you on your trade value. My guess is that with them knocking the bottom out of the sales price, they won't put much in your trade. I could wrong. And if I am, I'd like to use your skills the next time I purchase.

I use the prices here as a reference, each sale will be unique. It boils down to value of trade, dealer fees, addons and especially your location. There are different incentives per region. Back in October I had singed a deal for a fully loaded 2016 QX60, even paid the deposit to a dealer 200 miles away, but then the dealer backed out saying he can't offer the same price since the vehicle will be registered in NY, he won't get same incentives, He was asking for $2K more. I didn't believe and told him to refund my deposit. True car was showing $4,000 difference in price when I put my zip code versus that other dealers, but I didn't feel comfortable driving 200 mile and then them throwing another gotcha and not paying enough for my trade.

In a way all works out, I am happy that deal didn't go through, I ended up getting 2017 at slightly better price.

Sure thing. Spot on with the website, $58,700ish. I went to truecar.com and did it through them, settled on the price only to have a local dealer catch wind and come offer slightly higher, which I then negotiated down another $300 to offset the asinine dealer fee of $300 for so called conveyance. Just picked it up tonight out the door at $51,200 not including sales tax, registration or something called ViN etching
