Nice pickup! The 2019s are generally solid, but like you already mentioned, the big thing to keep an eye on is the CVT—make sure you stay on top of fluid changes and don’t push it too hard. Some owners have also reported timing chain issues or oil consumption if maintenance was neglected, but with regular service you should be fine. On the positive side, the QX60 is super comfortable for long trips, the interior space is great for families, and the AWD system is pretty dependable in bad weather. As long as you keep up with maintenance, it’s a very enjoyable SUV.

Congrats! Please do oil & filter change every 6 months or 5,000 miles. This is how I do it:

 

Just a reminder, get your transfer case fluid drained/filled (specific to AWD models, different than CVT fluid). I do mine every 30k.
