I just bought a 2014 QX60 AWD...I drive to our local mountains a lot for skiing and wanted an AWD....in fact if you have an AWD you don't need to put on chains...the Highway Patrol will stop you and check. But without the AWD emblem I have to prove to them its an AWD vehicle (only place to prove it is on the MSRP sticker?). Also, what if you have to get towed and the tower does not realize you have an AWD vehicle...couldn't he cause damage? So my question is...why didn't Infiniti include an AWD in the back...and should I buy and install a generic one? Thanks

You might want to consider contacting your dealer and getting some sort of document that shows you have AWD and this should be something that has your VIN number on it, so you can prove that document is in fact for your vehicle and none other.

I have my MSRP sticker in my glove compartment - has AWD and the VIN number. I think I'll add a generic AWD sticker..in fact just bought an infiniti "AWD" one on ebay with adhesive.

AWD Badge

Sure doesn't make sense. If you. Search EBay for AWD badges, you'll find a bunch of them. Just find one that looks close enough to the other badges on your car. They aren't expensive and just stick on.

It sure does help to have some way to line it up properly.
I have seem badges that people had put on to their vehicles and they look rather horrible with the way they have been mounted, at least you did it right.

I am way late to this but you also could show the state trooper the rear differential. Not having an AWD badge on the QX60 is just one of many incomprehensible things infiniti does in their design.

I purchased a badge on eBay and stuck it on. I found one similar to the factory QX60 badge. You can get them on Amazon also. Just search for QX50 or QX60 badges and see what looks best.

the badge was added in 2019. I believe it started appearing on the 2019.5 models. if you're looking for a Original equipment badge you could look it up that way.

My 2019 was made December 2018 and has the AWD badge.

Adding AWD badging

For 2019 Infiniti added AWD badging. I made a template to match where the opposite QX60 badging is and reversed it. Not bad.
