changed my 2017 QX60 2.0 with all fluids here including the coolant:
www.searchforparts.com/oil-change/infiniti-2017-q60-2.0l-c

The family ran the engine into the ground with aggressive driving and "forgetting" to do maintenance for over a year or so (my head still hurts from this) so it feels better now to have changed all the fluids, I use another vehicle and had given maintenance duties to a certain family member who just said "whoops I forgot!"

She is paying for the tires that need to be changed!

Flushed my brake fluid, my '19 Pure was 25 months old from factory. New DOT 3 looks so clean in the reservoir now!

Flushing sequence: FR / FL / RR / LR.

Note that the bleeders on the front calipers are different sizes compared to the rears, so you need 2 diameters of plastic tube, and two wrench sized, IIRC 10mm front and 8mm rears.

I removed my driver's side roof rail and inspected the channel seam for damage. I have been getting water intrusion and Infiniti has replaced multiple items without a positive result. On my last visit, Infiniti wanted to look under the roof rail, but told me I would have to buy a pair of new ones quoted at over $1,000 with parts and labor. I was told the roof rails were one off parts because the clips "will break when you remove the rail". However, I did not experience this and no clips were broken. I cleaned the channel with ISO and inspected the welds. Sure enough, I found cracks in the weld closest to my interior water intrusion. I consulted with a professional welder and will be moving forward with the repair tomorrow. Infiniti quoted me over $4,000 for the repair that can be fixed with $40 in supplies and a few hours of my time. I'm about to repair welds on a late model, elite wrapped warranty QX60 with less than 60,000 miles on it!!! Never again Infiniti...

Oh, and I installed a shark fin antenna because the car cover I was forced to buy broke my antenna.

This morning I did the rear brake pads and rotors on my '19 QX60 AWD. The pads were still okay for thickness, but the rotors were getting ugly. Raybestos Element3 pads and coated rotors. I've used Raybestos stuff before and would recommend.

Is there any reason to replace pads/rotors before the wear indicator starts scraping/squealing? I'm planning to change my own, just seems like a waste to do it early.

In my case, there was a cyclic grunting type noise on low speed braking to stop coming from rear that is totally gone now. Full confession: I had the parts from Rock Auto sitting on my maple woodworkers bench since last December....waiting for some warm weather.

Was it urgent to do the brakes? nope, but I did it when it suited my semi-retired schedule and the Earth was warmed to my tastes. Hate doing car work in cold damp weather.

Looks like he/she bought this:
Link

Removed the dash, screwed it in, then screwed a PortaGrip phone holder to the base.

That's my guess. Either way it looks slick.
Thanks Yeller I found the part on the Panavise website, along with some pictures of the install. For the past 3-years plus I have used CD slot holders, the current is a little lower than that one. It does hide the radio controls but I use the the steering wheel mostly. I’m at 126k miles so I think I have enough phone clips for the lifetime of this QX. Either way thanks for the assist, I didn’t look at Amazon, only Ebay.

Upgraded the D2S headlight bulbs to Koito D2S HID-Xenon bulbs, and they are whiter and brighter than the stock (Philips 85122) bulbs The Koito Bulbs were OEM in the older G37 Sedan/Coupe
Upgraded all interior lights to LED
Upgraded front turn signal to Auxito 3030 SMD LED 7440A bulbs
Upgraded rear turn signal to Lasfit LED T-7443R (none of these needed resistors and they don't hyperflash)
Adjusted headlight beam level with the aiming screw since the passenger side was abit low.

Just finished a 1,300 mile roadtrip to FL. 140K+ miles on the odometer, zero issues.

Added a router that had two USB plugs (USB#1 connected to a USB-Drive filled with videos, USB#2 tethered to my phone). Ipads connect to router, then they can can surf web or watch movies on their iPads. Worked well.

The best part was seeing a fairly new broke-down (rounded body style) range rover with hood up and the owner trying to add coolant. I considered a 5 year old Range rover, but at the end thought it was too unreliable.
