Was supercharging the QX60 hybrid 2.5-liter engine better than turbocharging?

Did Infinti make the right choice by supercharging the 2.5-liter four cylinder engine in the hybrid model? Would a turbo setup be better?

yes, turbochargers tend to kick in more in the higher RPM's, superchargers don't. Since it runs off of a belt thats connected to a pulley on the engine it's a more consistent stream of power.

which would in the end be more fuel efficient? supercharger or turbocharger?
