Shopping for a 2017 Qx60. Would like the 20 inch wheel option but a bit skeptical if the nice look which I like will be defeated by a super rough ride...especially that it kind of defeats the point of an suv (you know...not darting around every pothole) to have the 20 inch wheels with the 55 sidewall tires. Currently I have 17 inch wheels on my Infiniti Q50 and the 55 sidewall can be jarring when it hits potholes. I'm afraid a super heavy SUV will be even worse withe the 20's. Looking for people to share their experiences...especially those that had the smaller wheels and tires on the Jx35/qx60 and now have the 20's.

Also are the 20 inch tires run flats? Is there a spare in trunk/

Thanks in advance.

My wife's 2017 has the 20 inch option. Not only do they look good, they ride good as well. With this size vehicle anything smaller looks off balanced IMO. The spares under the rear bumper

I just moved from factory 18's on my Qx to factory 20's. Not only did I upsize I also moved from softer side wall t rated tire to firmer v rated tire. I do notice a more solid ride with less sway. I would not say it is a jarring ride at all. If you are worried go with H rated tires. I too was worried with the switch prior to the leap.

I have 18" OEM rims. I think the 20" OEM and only the ones from Infiniti factory look nice. I would love to switch my 18's for 20's. I checked online the the OEM 20's are selling for almost $473.** a piece.

I have a 2013 JX35 on 18's and a 2017 QX60 on 20's. The ride on the 20's feels normal in a straight line but hard turns and the car flexes on the stock 20" Bridgestone Duelers. The ride seems a little bumpier in the 3rd row too. Any turn jars the passengers in the 3rd row a lot more than passengers in my JX on 18's. In an emergency situation I'd prefer the 18's for the more solid feel when the car is traveling in anything other than a straight line. The 18's have been changed for Michelin Defender tires.
