Should I consider a buyback (i.e., lemon law) JX?

Looking at some used JX35's (and even a few QX60s) and a couple dealers are selling buyback JX's, assumedly from CA (due to their consumer friendly lemon law) that were bought back due to transmission judder issues. They're a great value, in my opinion, and I intend to keep the vehicle I buy for 5+ years. So with that in mind, should I bite? Or run like the wind?

I wouldn't keep such a vehicle past it's warranty term, rather start fresh with a vehicle that is known not to have this problem.

I don't know a lot about the judder issue, but would there be a difference between owning a buyback repaired vehicle versus if I'd bought a new JX, had the judder issue, had it repaired, and kept on with the vehicle? Thanks.
I'd be nervous about it. I'd rather go with something that doesn't have known problems or is not past its warranty.

If you want to buy a vehicle that has had issues addressed, just make sure to do your research and make sure what was done is what actually fixes the idea and of course you look into the service records to see that the work has indeed been done.
Thanks guys, in the end I bought a non-lemon law JX. I decided it wasn't worth the risk! Thanks for your input.

DONT BUY IT!!!They can't repair the "judder" "shudder" issue. I have taken my BRAND NEW bought in Nov 2014 QX60, to 2 different Infiniti service for repair of this issue. And as of today they gave me my car back saying that its a software issue and the engineers are working on a fix. Well, they've known about this issue with these cars since 2013 and here it is 2015 and Im being told they're working on a fix NOW???

Please if you haven't already...dont buy it under the guise of them saying that the buyback vehicle you want to purchase has been repaired. It has NOT. There is NO fix is what I have just been told buy Infiniti themselves.

Good thing you came to this site first. Wish I had:-(

Sorry about your difficulties! I appreciated everyone's input and in the end I bought a certified pre-owned JX35 with a clean service history. We are loving our JX!

Such an ominous warning. Really is too bad to hear about this. I would expect more from Infiniti/Nissan. This is not the kind of quality and service that I would expect from such a big brand.
