Hello ALL:

Just a quick question. My wife drives shorter distances so an oil change would be based on every 6 months as she would go nowhere near 5,000 miles in 6 months.

My question is regarding the other service intervals. For instance, would the 15,000 mile service be in 18 months...with the oil change? Would the major 30,000 service be in 3 years or does she wait for the 30,000 miles. At some point I believe that almost all of these services need to be done after so many months/years. So far the prepaid service plans (which make no sense to us) just mention millage (except for oil) and not TIME. In fact they seem to save you nothing!

I found the answer to this myself as Infinity has an online PDF for service. It seems EVERYTHING is based on 5,000 miles OR 6 Months. So, it sure seems like a 60 month Service plan is WAY overpriced for us and is in no way worth it. But the dealer said it also included inspections. Yeah, great, Infinity says in the PDF that it is Complimentary EVERY time you bring the car in!!

I must say that I did not expect this TEAM sales approach and services we don't need for an Infinity! I don't like it even when buying a Ford or Chevy.
