Yup, very sarcastic if no one else didn't read it that way.

What Sinecure means is that those sticks are HDMI outputs using USB for power.
The vehicle only has RCA input. So you can't directly connect it. You would need a converter that goes from HDMI to RCA. That said, it's not impossible.

You'd need something like this
Amazon.com: Portta 100HC Mini HDMI to 3RCA Composite AV Converter for TV/PC/PS3/Blue-ray DVD1080P,White / Black: Electronics

and
http://www.amazon.com/Maxboost-Portable-External-compatible-Bluetooth/dp/B00ISGCAJM

You should be good to go after that with a wifi hotspot.

Yes it works

Hi folks,
I have a roku streaming stick and it worked with an hdmi to composite for several months.

Recently, it stopped working. I have no idea why. I haven't really tried to solve the issue, to figure out if the issue is with the roku converter or cable. Also FYI the Roku 1 has a composite back, so you wouldn't need a converter. I haven't tried to troubleshoot this either. I can report back once I've tried to troubleshoot and have narrowed down the issue.

As Jnester12 said, no reason why it wouldn't work. All you need is an HDMI to composite converter, then cables to your composite/RCA connector.

When I had a Galaxy 4 phone, I used a Samsung hub (HDMI) and converted to analog (composite) to display Waze on my main screen. Quality wasn't great but worked just fine.

wpessin, you might want to consider a chromecast that mirrors your android phone. It'll be a little easier than connecting the Roku to your phone.
