Greetings!

I am looking to buy a QX60 in the Bay Area. I haven't test-driven it yet.
I am looking to get the Technology, driver assistance and theater packages.

I have two questions:

1. Is the middle seat removable from the 2nd row?
Is that something I should worry about? I am replacing my Odyssey with QX60 and my kids love the easy access to the third row.

2. How well does the two screen system (in the Theatre package) actually work with kids? On my Odyssey, my kids love the ceiling mounted DVD player. Is there any standard option to get a ceiling mounted system?

Thanks

The middle seat is not removable, but, as you may know, the car's right outboard seat in the second row can be slid forward for third row access with a forward facing car seat installed.

The individual screens work well, I think. Gives each of them their own screen. Not blu-ray (though that may have changed since I got my 2014).

The theater flat screens in the seat headrests is a great design. No more looking in the rearview mirror to see the back of a flat screen. Each headphone can be to tuned a separate monitor so both kids in the back can watch and listen to a different show the same time, and you can listen to the radio or the songs on your phone. The one catch is to watch a different show on one of the headrest monitors requires a portable video source to be plugged into the RCA jack in the back of the front arm/rest bin. Have your salesman show you...it's fairly strait forward.

I'd recommend you contact Sinecure our other moderator on this forum and set up an appointment with him. He works at Peninsula Infiniti, which is a very reputable dealership. He will give you the best service I think you will find in the Bay Area. I am not connected with him in any way, however I know he has a great understanding of all Infiniti vehicles they sell and he cares a lot about his customers.
