Does the lift gate opens if it’s too close to a wall. It happened to me once-the lift gate opened near a wall in my garage and it extended 1inch close to the wall. I thought it was going to scratch and ruin the paint job. Thankfully it didn’t but was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience or worse.

If you push the button, the lift gate will open no matter what. My son opened the lift gate when the garage door was closed, and now my lift gates has scratches.

There is no sensor to stop the door from opening.

Thanks for sharing. That’s insane that there’s no sensor. These little gotcha is starting to cost me…smh
