I bought a genuine touch up paint kit from dealer and it’s doesn’t match at all… I get it won’t be perfect but feels like I could mix a custom that is closer. Any advise?
Looking at your picture, is your touch-up the black-looking stuff in the middle?
If so, yes, it looks horrible. Typically paints have to be shaken a lot. Not 10 seconds, but shaken for minutes because colors separate and they don't like to say mixed while wet. Take your vehicle to the dealership and show the Parts manager (assuming you bought it from parts) then ask them to fix it.
