Wife and I pulled the trigger on a QX60. Our third Infiniti, behind a QX4 (sad to say, totaled) and our G35x, which suddenly became MY daily driver

Got the Premium and Premium Plus packages. Wife has been doing all of the driving since purchase I have no option other than a great dealer experience and my short time behind the wheel has been excellent. We will be driving out of town this weekend about 150 miles each way, looking forward to NOT piloting my Mini-Van for "travel".

I do have a question for the knowledgeable out there. We are still on the trial period for XM. Are those the only channels? I rented a car with a trial of Sirius and that seemed to have many more channels. That aside, what functions, if any, are dependent on XM?

I'm not aware of any other XM packages that allow additional channels. What you see is what you get.

Unless things have changed in the past few years, the 3 month trial period provided all XM channels, Nav Traffic and Nav Weather.

We've had XM on several vehicles over the years. I personally like having it, especially on long trips, but absolutely had horrible experiences over the years with their customer service. There were hundreds of complaints on one of the federal agency web sites regarding issues. I did notice when we took delivery of our 2014 Nissan Rogue, the customer service increased significantly. No more issues. The problem we had with their customer service was at the same time the unrest was going on in Egypt (thats the call center I got hooked up with).

As much as I hate paying for Nav Traffic and Nav Weather, I do use them and they work well.
