Hi. These forums have been so helpful. Helped me decide between an ML350 and the QX60. Now my turn to pull the plug. We have negotiated on two cars. Here are the details. Please provide feedback as soon as possible since they are each expecting an answer tomorrow morning:

2014 QX60 - Black Obsidian with Java & maple interior: $57,600 fully loaded Cargo Package (M92) Rear Bumper Protector (B93)
Deluxe Touring Package (K01) Roof Rail Cross Bars (B94)
Illuminated Kick Plates (N10) Roof Rails (B10)
Premium Package (P01) Technology Package (F02)
Premium Plus Package (P02) Theater Package (H01)
Here's the kicker. It was a demo car and has 3k miles. It's in absolutely perfect condition. Negotiated lease at $630 a month complete sign and drive and 3 years of service.

Or

Brand new 2015 QX60 - Hermosa Blue with Java Maple interior.: $53,155K
Driver Assistance Package (F01) Roof Rail Cross Bars (B94)
Illuminated Kick Plates (N10) Roof Rails (B10)
Premium Package (P01) Splash Guards (B92)
Premium Plus Package (P02) Theater Package (H01)
Rear Bumper Protector (B93)
Negotiated lease $695 a month sign and drive.

Helpppp!!! Cheaper, fully loaded car, but a 2014 w/3000 miles or a Hard to find color spanking new 2015 for $65 more??

Thanks!!!
And are these good deals???

You will need to post more information to be able to know exactly what your deal looks like. Down payment, miles, lease term, residual, money factor, etc. It is just too difficult to say with just the monthly payment. Also, the Hermosa Blue is not necessarily a hard color to find, it is more that the 2015's just started coming in about a month ago. I would say save some money and get the demo if that doesn't bother you, but he Hermosa does look awesome on the 60!

Thanks, Matt.
I was hoping to hear from you. I've had the most horrible dealer experience. It it wasn't for my sales guy and the finance guy, I'd gladly take my business elsewhere.

To answer some of your questions. 0 money down. Literally sign and drive on both. I think the residual on the 2014 is 53% and the residual on the 2015 is 56%. I don't remember the exact money factor, but the 2014 was a lot lower. Almost a 3% less. 10K miles for 39 mos.

Im in Miami, Florida. There is only one Hermosa Blue with Java interior with the packages we are looking for in our 200 miles radius. There are several Blues, but may are in the $43K to $47K range.

I love the Hermosa!!! The black looks super luxurious. I guess my bigger deal is 2014 vs. 2015???

What would you do? (WWMD) :)

Thanks,
DD

There really is no big difference between the two model years, so unless the Hermosa is the exact vehicle you would build, I would say go for the 14 and save some money. The money factors and residuals will be higher on the 15s like you said, so that alone will make a difference in your payment. It just depends on if you want to spend more money for a lesser equipped vehicle to get the color you want, and or the 15 MY. A demo is a perfect opportunity to save some money, so if it was taken care of, there is no better way to get a new vehicle.
