This person has a point but there still are more benefits to it. Plus by buying a hybrid we're supporting the green vehicle efforts car makers are makingLuxury Hybrids isn't that on a level with being called an Oxymoron? I mean you only get 28 mpg max? Really? Boy, that is money well spent.
That's not why.Gasoline consumption within the US of late has been fairly constant in all parts of the country except for the northeast. In the NE gasoline consumption is actually falling. Why? The reduction was traced back to the 4.6% of new vehicles in the NE that are hybrids. Yeah, I was surprised, too.
