If I have a route on the Navi and going somewhere, even though I am to stay on the same road (e.g., an interstate), the Navi breaks it up into multiple "red dots" so I have no idea how far it really is to the exit. The issue is, let's say I need to go 50 miles on the same road until an exit, it shows the next "transition marker" part-way even though there is no exit. This might happen several times along that 50 mile stretch, so that instead of seeing 50 miles to an exit, I might see 10, then 25, then 15 miles until I'm supposed to do something (which I'm not for the first two). There doesn't appear to be any rhyme-or-reason for where they're placed (e.g., no merge zones). Google Maps on the other hand shows 50 miles until exit and sticks to it. Is this a changeable setting or just poorly developed Infiniti software?
