Hi QX60 Fam, I was wondering if anyone was able to successfully mirror their smartphone on their main display and/or rear display headrests?

I noticed on YouTube a company NAViKS is offering a solution but for $400 (can't post links) but search for "naviks hdmi qx60" on YT and it should be the first video.

I was also thinking of using an AV-HDMI converter and then an adapter for the phone either HDMI to lightning or HDMI to USB C (maybe $50 overall) - has anyone tried/tested this option?

The HDMI to lightning adapter works for the rear. Quality isn’t great but I think that is due to the screen itself not the adapter. Make sure you get the apple version if you have an iPhone. The knockoffs don’t all transmit video.

I'm not sure if this applies to all years. It has worked great for my 2014 QX60 and using Samsung devices. Don't know if it works with Apple devices.

Essentially, phone plug to HDMI plug, HDMI cable from plug to powered converter, RCA cable from powered converter to car AUX input. Cumbersome but works as expected, full image and audio mirroring.

This would seem to be too good to be true but works great! It won’t mirror everything (Netflix is blocked for example) but my kids use it in the back seat. I was amazed since it’s so inexpensive.

This site won’t let me post a link... Amazon. Put in HDMI lightning USB. $15.

Keep in mind only newer QX60s have HDMI inputs. All I have are RCA inputs. If you're on an older model, you can't just use a passive HDMI to RCA adapter, it needs to be powered to actually convert the signal.

Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum and I wanted to share how I cast from tablet or phone to my 2016 Infiniti QX60 rear displays. So I purchased only 1 cable and 1 wireless adapter to make this happen.

First I purchased an isimple HDMI to RCA cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LUX1F5K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_sb0bFbS5BSVKM

Then I got a Microsoft wireless adapter V2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C9YTI9S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_mc0bFb0RGQZ36

I plugged the isimple cable into RCA ports then adapter into the isimple cable and the USB in the center console to power it.

All I had to do next was use smart view on my Samsung devices and boom! Now on other phones and tablets it may have a different name then smartview but same concept.

Here are some pics!
