Curious if anyone upgraded the bulbs in their front lights? I believe they are d2s 4300k bulbs, was thinking about going up to 6000k, any thoughts?

most 6000k bulbs i have used...i've found them to be good enough.

Don't you guys find 6000k to be too blue?

I thought 8000k was blue-ish and 6000k was more white with a slight blue tint like BMW's

But just a straight bulb swap? Nothing else?

Was thinking of the 6000k Philips d2s bulbs or the Osram ones

Replaced Amber Turn Signal Bulbs

I personally don't like orange to be visible on the headlight/taillights so I replaced the amber front and rear turn signal bulbs with these chrome ones (they still blink amber).

I came across Paradox's post (see below) and got them on ebay from seller: gplightsusa*com

Here's the description:

So I tried changing the above bulbs last night and here's what I encountered.


Front: The stock bulbs shine much brighter and an actual orange color, the bulbs above shine half as bright and its like a reddish orange. The stock bulbs are actually painted chrome as well, so I just kept the stock ones.


Rear: The above chrome bulbs have 4 pins (2 connectors on each size) and the stock ones have only 2 pins (1 connector on each side). Bulb size 7443 are 4 pin. So I bought another set of chrome bulbs on ebay last night these are 2 pin bulb size 7440 992 from seller: autopartshouse.


See pic of amber stock bulb (left) and notice 1 pin on each side. The chrome 7443 bulb (right) I originally bought has 2 pins on each side.
