Forgot to add that I will be doing some towing with the QX60 Hyrbid AWD if i get it, since it has an all-wheel-drive setup, should I expect a higher towing capacity?

Are all wheel drive vehicles better for towing or would the front wheel drive QX60 be just as good?

For an extra 1k for AWD on the QX60, I don't see why anyone would even bother with the FWD.
This is also the case with Lexus and their Lexus RX line up. Both the RX 350 and RX 450 have a $1000 mark up for AWD.

Starting to seem like $1000+ for AWD is the industry standard or something Lexus or some other brand started and everyone else is doing to stay competitive.

This is an easy one of course an all wheel drive for an SUV would be the best option. I mean if you want to take advantage of the uses most likely you will end up of the road on some occasions this is where the AWD would help. And not to mention when weather conditions change you have that security of all wheels getting traction.

Well it really depends if you need it or not. It would be better if you had the AWD and could turn of the rear differential so it becomes fwd only for fuel economy sake.
That would be the best option if Infiniti offered it. With the FWD vs AWD it really comes down to the argument of savings vs performance. I think the AWD is worth it.

at least with getting an AWD Hybrid, the regenerative braking gives you back some range as you slow down and go on the brake, so you may not feel the difference of FWD to AWD in your wallet

True but with just about any hybrid you don't break even from the premium you paid for the hybrid model until many of years later. I think some auto news website said something like 5 years of ownership is needed to break even and actually see some real savings
