Infiniti Connection Renewal

We are coming up on 1 year of ownership and received a notice about renewing our Infiniti Connection. I like the safety aspect of the regular plan since my wife and kids are in the car most of the time, but will probably drop the Plus services due to the cost ($308 for both). Just wondering if anyone else has already renewed and if you were able to get any discounts or negotiate the rates. Thanks.

Good thread as I'll be facing the same decision in February and hearing a possible way to save some money is appreciated.

I too am looking at the regular plan to save money and because I find the extra features of the better plan like speaking to a live person useless (the way Infiniti has their service executed).
I work for an Infiniti dealer and they didn't want to give me a discount.

I'm hoping they change their mind on that. I tried to reason with them that I influence people re: Infiniti Connection on a daily basis. We'll see.
Love the Service But...

I use the service all the time but feel it is a bit high. Wish you could subscribe on a monthly service basis. I'm still concerned about the AT&T network going away at the end of 2016.

now that's brutal especially that you work for a dealer and still couldn't get it, you'd think that they at least give back to their own people!

agree.
would have expected better from them.
So I called the 800 number and spoke to an agent. I asked if there were any offers on renewing and was told no. I then asked them not to automatically renew the account and was offered $20 off to keep both the services ($10 apiece). I declined hoping they might offer more. They told me that was the best they could do. I waited a couple of days, called back and again was only offered the $20. Figured it was better than nothing, so I just renewed.
I've gotten emails about calling to renew because my credit card will not auto renew. I've decided to save the money and not renew as I am not really pleased with the implementation of their service.
