Gentlemen...I had to trade my JX35 in yesterday. We LOVED it but it just proved to be too small for three growing kids on trips. We bought a QX56. I did many mods to it, but I am selling all of the rubber JX OEM Wheat mats AND the rear wheat upholstered fold down mat all for $150.00 plus shipping. The mats are in great condition...and yes that is at least half price. I will separate the rear cargo for sale if needed ($75.00). I can send pics!

I had considered the Acura MDX and Audi Q7 before getting my QX60 but before all that, I was thinking of ordering a redesigned 2015 Escalade. After measuring it up and seeing how tight it'd be in my garage and then thinking about the gas mileage in the huge 6.2L v* that I simply don't need, I looked elsewhere, lol. I'm sure the QX56 isn't as bad as the Escalade, but it still must be a difference after getting used to the JX35.

Man..I gotta tellya...it is a 2012 and I still can't believe my MPG. I drove it from the dealership (50 miles one way and i reset the clock prior to the drive home. Are you ready for this.....21.8 when I got home. My wife drove it to work today (20 miles) and it now shows
19.2. Honestly guys...we get this in our previously owned JX Still have a tough time believing this quite honestly....actually stunned....

I hope that continues for you, but having owned 3 QX56's and having just "downsized" my 2011 QX56 to a 2014 QX60, I can tell you that I never saw that MPG. Best average was about 17 all highway and about 15-16 city, using Premium.

I loved the QX56 (and still do), but I won't miss the trips to the pump and the ~20 gallon fill up every 5 days or so. But...what a sweet ride on long trips.

I hated trading in our 2010 Armada but the gas was getting out of hand, and it was difficult to park in under-ground parking garages in the Seattle area. We love the JX and although it doesn't have the same capacity as the QX56/80, the Yakima Cargo box does the job for us when we need the extra space. I don't miss the $100 fill-ups several times a month either.

Drove a loaner QX56 and absolutely loved it. Would consider it again if Infiniti could improve the fuel economy.

Yeah..I promise I am not wearing rose colored glasses...I too am aware of the MPG on this thing...;-) I can't explain why it appears to be getting phenom mileage.
But, she only commutes in it once a week to work...otherwise she takes our Acura TSX. Anyway, the power is incredible. Anyway, the rubber mats are still available !

We went with a Stowaway cargo box a few years back that hooks on the rear tow hitch and takes care of our storage needs for long trips. It works great and find it easier to load since it is at "ground level". Haven't tried it on the qX60 yet, but expect same results. But either way, storage on long trips for either car is not an issue.
