Hi
I purchased new 2014 new hybrid QX60 2 days ago.
I found that during the start up, Hybrid System Warning Light was turned on and never disappeared until I shut down the engine.

I brought the car to my dealer and they will look at on next Monday.
Has anyone had the same problem?

I am not happy with that the new car has possible an error in hybrid system.

What should I do with my new car? (asking dealer to replace the new car?. my car mileage is about 50 mile now)

Thanks

If this happened right as you were leaving the dealership, I would tell them either to have it fixed or to give you a new one. This is not something that should happen right off the bat and may lead to an issue with the Hybrid system itself, which is under full warranty. Just talk to your sales consultant and he should be able to get something figured out for you. If they "won't" help you (instead of can't, because they can), file a claim through Infiniti and you should be able to get it figured out fairly quickly since it is so new.

The dealer told me that hybrid system is OK. however, there was a regular battery problem. I was told that there are 2 batteries in the car. one for hybrid, other one for regular operation such as navigation, DVD player.
Dealer said that when the car was shipped from Japan, somehow, the regular battery ran down, which caused wanring light turned on.

They told that They have tested road testing and ran the battery test. and everything was ok.

I will pick the car tomorrow (due to the snows, could not pick up the car)
Thanks for your help.
