A couple of times now I've noticed wide swings in the fuel gauge as it nears empty. It's gone from above the red to 0 after driving a couple of miles and sitting idle at a parking lot for a few minutes; this was today and when I filled up less than 17 gallons were added. Another time, it just entered the red with 30+ miles reported remaining, then moments later started flashing ---.

I'm guessing the cold weather (10F today) might be causing these issues, however coming from a car that had a reliable gauge, even in the cold, it's getting some used to.

2017 QX60. I have had this issue when weather is cold or hot. Miles to go may indicate 50, then suddenly, within 10-15 miles it's pegged at 0. This has caused some anxiety not knowing if I'd suddenly run out of gas with miles to go before the next available gas station.
