Hello all,

Has anyone done a brake job yet? I'm looking for the torque specs for pad replacement with rotor resurfacing. Last maintenance at 36k miles they "RED" checked brakes all the way around with no values...stealership...

I'm looking for torque values on the following:

Front caliper bolts:

Front rotor bracket bolts:

Caliper bleeder screw:

Rear caliper bolts:

Rear rotor bracket bolts:

Any good information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I am doing all 4 now but don't use torque specs. If you cannot find then you can use standard torque specs for the bolts as a guide

I was surprised how much corrosion on the caliper pistons already (on a 2016). Worse than other cars of this age. If it keeps up I may need to rebuild in 2 years.

Bit of a puzzle figuring out how to seat new OEM brake pads with the stainless hardware. There are so many springs between both of them it makes it difficult to remove and replace. Would be easier with a fixed caliper. If anyone knows the trick to remove and replace please share.

Also strange how front and back need to be replaced at the same time. I understand the fronts are much larger but I just expect to replace fronts sooner and more often.
