As I parked the car, the front seat moves all of the way forward and pushes me against the steering wheel. I can reach the lever and stop it and move it back. It has happened twice in the last 60 days and never before that.

Anybody else have this happen and is there a fix other replacing the whole under assembly?

I’ve been on this forum for the past 10 years and I’ve never heard of this issue. To confirm, this happened only twice, and your seat-memory positions are both not set to that forward-position?

I ask because the car can be setup so the seat will move based on what key is used (fob 1 vs fob 2). BTW, what year is your car? The 22/23’s have user profiles capabilities that move seats in addition to seat memory positions.

I know, weird. I am the only one who drives the car so a never use the 1 an 2 positions. Only set where I like to drive. Plus I only have 1 fob when I bought it used. It is a 2015. I am thinking there may be a short somewhere.
