Hello, I just bought a 2015 QX60 and found that the instructions are to hit the unlock (doors) button to be able to open the gas cap door. Does anyone know if there’s a way to have only the driver’s door unlocked while fueling? ThanX !
For the 2017 model you set it via the DIC (Driver Information Center; the settings on the screen between the speedometer & tach). The 2015 is probably the same. Under Vehicle Settings look for Selective Unlock. Here's the description: "Allows user to turn selective unlock on or off. When turned on, only the driver’s door is unlocked after the door unlock operation. When the door handle request switch on the driver’s or front passenger’s side door is pushed to be unlocked, only the corresponding door is unlocked first. All the doors can be unlocked if the door unlock operation is performed again within 1 minute. When this item is turned off, all the doors will be unlocked after the door unlock operation is performed once."
Yes, if you just unlock the driver door, the gas door will be unlocked. It sounds like you're concerned about security. In that case, leave "Selective Unlock" turned on - based on fushigi's description above. So one click of your remote will unlock the driver door and the second click will unlock the rest of the doors.
