Greetings to all!

I was just wondering if any of the members have experience the same thing with the door courtesy light not working. I have 3500 miles on the car and i noticed when got to the drivers door i do not see the light any more. Can this be replaced easily or should I bring this to the dealer?

Thanks!!!

I'm assuming it's the door handle white light itself. It's covered under warranty. But there's also a setting in the instrument display something about a welcome light. Did those settings change? Otherwise, I'm not sure how to change that led out and I'm not sure you can.
Hi Thorin78 Thanks for the help I will check that, and see if anything change.

Hopefully its a simple on and off on the setting...
if it doesn't turn out to be that you might want to stop by the dealer to have them look at it. sometimes they'll change the light with no labor charge
As Thorin78 mentioned on your center dash screen, check the settings and see if the Welcome feature is turned off. I turned mine off and the lights stayed off until I turned the feature back on.
Thank you all for your help. I tried to turn on and off the welcome lights as well as restore factory settings. But the problem still persist.

What I could remember when this happened is that the light on the door blinked when I approached the car, after the incident it stopped working on both doors.

My hunch could be a fuse or both have busted lens.

I have already scheduled a service from my dealer.

I will keep you posted guys.
Usually you always start with the most simplest thing such as the fuse and work your way up to the harder and more costly things, likely what the dealer will do.
Latest update: I have looked by the dealer last Monday.. they did all the test and checked everything, the lights were flickering during the test. They have found that a circuit board for the welcome lights was busted which needs to be replaced.

Unfortunately the said circuit board is on back order and will have to wait until it gets available.
Hopefully that is the only issue. Did they say how long the turn around time could be? Keep us posted!
They don't have an ETA on when the parts will be available..

I will keep you posted guys...
i wonder what parts of the board was busted, could be just a matter of broken solder points.
Yeah likely, if there were to break now, it's just poor quality control. It usually takes YEARS like 5+ years for this to happen in more of a natural way
Here is the latest update...

The Body Control Module (BCM) was shorted and have to be replaced. The parts arrived yesterday and has been installed. With the new BCM the keys needs to be re-programmed.

So far everything looks great....

Thanks for the info. How long did the whole process take them?
