I've been reading a lot of reports lately about problems with the Pathfinder shuddering at low speeds. Is this something that current JX35 owners are experiencing as well? What is causing the problems?

i know for a fact the JX35 did make a shudder/vibration , what ever you want to call it when making low speed turns and probably even at low speeds without turning. the JX35 and PF do have a ton of visual differences but at the same time there are a lot of similarities so I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of many issues it shares with the PF

More info on that issue, or what may be it. I know this is what has been reported and what Infiniti/Nissan is working on.

Summary of ITB12072:

IF YOU CONFIRM There is a vibration or judder feeling from the rear of the vehicle when making turns on dry roads at low speeds (under 40 MPH), and it does not occur if the Electric Controlled Coupling is electrically disconnected. ACTION Replace the Electric Controlled Coupling in the transfer case assembly for the rear final drive. See this bulletin for further detail.

PF and JX/QX60 have different drive-trains. So wouldn't be surprising if the problem is unique to PF.
