We have a new 2017 QX60. It has large gaps on the floor where the tracks for the rear seat to slide forward and back are. It's almost certain that over time, lots of stuff will fall down there, especially if we drive small kids around -- coins, goldfish crackers, and just general dust and lint.

What do people here use to cover those tracks up to keep stuff from falling in? Extra floor mats? Pieces of plastic? We'd like to get them covered up soon before they start getting filled up with loose items and crud. All suggestions appreciated; thanks.

Nailed it... Got mine in 2012 so it has everything you mentioned in tracks and more.... You forgot to include the little fingers that poke at the tracks and come out with grease, then get wiped on the seats.

I'd love a solution too.
