Just checking in - does anyone find the vehicle unusually loud on a really cold winter start. The first few minutes (e.g. -20c) my jx sounds like a "stock car" . I have other cars and yes when brutally cold they all sound a bit different but I just want to see if anyone else has had the same experience

All of the Infiniti motors will be fairly loud when started in the cold weather. The 3.7 is actually even louder than your QX60 is. You have nothing to worry about though, it is just due to the high idle in the cold.

thanks for your response. I have heard that too about other Infinitis something about the stainless steel exhaust pipes. Has anyone used exhaust pipe wrap just around where it joins the manifold to deaden he sound.
