What do you guys think of these import / custom made mats? Its exactly what I need to protect my truck from camping gear but ordering direct from China always worries me.

You asked for an opinion... I think they look terrible. I have the Infiniti cargo liner and like it. Under $100, I believe, too. Google it :) it looks good, I think, and is very durable and easy to clean if needed.

Do you feel you need the side protection? The Infiniti ones don't have that, but the sides are plastic and clean easily, too.
But wait,,,,, it's "Good Quality"...... LOL...

BTW, the first set of pictures (Black/Red) are the QX60 while the others are not. You can tell by the dash, back of the driver seat and the material isn't cut around the 3rd row cupholders. Maybe a Pathfinder?

I'm sure it's fine, and if you like that "padded" look then go for it. I think black/black looks best. Just make sure the 3rd row cupholders are cut out.

Post some pics after you get it installed.

I appreciate and agree with your opinion. In my Pathfinder, after nine years, the plastic trim looked like I transported dogs for a living. Millions of white hair line scratches on grey trim. I'm trying to avoid this. So to answer your question I would prefer protection on the sides, as they show wear a lot quicker when packing the trunk to the roof.

I am taking delivery of a graphite on black leather. I think the following mat in black with black stitching will look much better.

Cool that it covers the sides in the back. Sort of borderline on the quilted look - where are the LV logos? Definitely very tacky looking in brown with the rest of the car.
For a $57K car, I just bought the best, a WeatherTech. Underneath it, I have a cordura like cover that goes from the tail gate to the head rests of the middle row when the seat backs are folded down. That pretty well protects for most stuff, I have my truck for hauling dirt.

Personally, I think this looks better and cheaper.
Canvasback Canvas Jackets - Custom Fit Canvasback Cargo Liner

It doesn't get you any of the surrounds though.
I'm looking for a cargo liner that will cover cargo area and third row. Infiniti parts shows 999C3-R2002, now 999C3-R2104 as a cargo liner that cover both sections and folds when third row is in use, but when I found closer-look pics it shows that it's a felt like material.

I'm looking for a harder and weather proof material, the type of the WeatherTech mats. I owned a RAV-4 and the OEM cargo protector was of that material and it folded. I loved the WeatherTech cargo liner that covers too the third row, but if I need the third row, I will permanently bend that liner.

Has anyone found an equivalent of that infiniti OEM part but in a more durable material?

I can't still publish pics or links, in the forums ( it seems I need a LOT of posting for it), it would has been easier
Thanks
Maybe look at Nissan Pathfinder 999C3-X3000 if you can live with the Nissan logo ... its solid rubber .. look at pic on Amazon ... to my eye it looks the same as the qx60/jx65 mat but in rubber.

The dealer sells them for $115 (cheaper than Amazon) and check w/ dealer if you can return them if they dont fit.

FYI, I have Costco membership which gets you discounts in cars, auto service & parts with participating dealers. In my area the Infiniti and Nissan dealers participate in Costco auto program and I can get 15% off service and parts coupons.

Correction on the Nissan Pathfinder part number for a QX60 ... it would be 999C3 X3004

999C3 X3000: Has Cut-Out
999C3 X3004: No Cut-Out

Some of the Pathfinder trim levels have 3rd row seat hooks (I think the lower trims).

This Youtube video @15:45 shows the Nissan Pathfinder All-Weather Cargo Area Protector (999C3-X3004) in action:

My wife's qx60 has the Infiniti OEM Cargo Area Protector (Graphite - Manual) - 999C3-R2006. I do have good pics of the mat but can't post the pics - i could provide upon request. If it were my chose then I would have gotten the rubber Pathfinder mat since the felt top layer of the Infiniti mat is a dirt magnet or KAGU 3D MAXpider Cargo liner M1NS0701309
This video has really good views of the rear cargo protector.
Holy cow so glad I saw this thread. Just installed the Nissan rear protector today, 999C3-X3000, far superior to the Weathertec floor mat. That one will be going back. With the kayaks in the back of the QX, we get a lot of sand. This will be a whoooooooole lot easier to clean!!!
