Does anybody have the Infiniti brand cargo protector/mat (Cargo Area Protector - 2012-2014 Infiniti JX35/QX60, Infiniti Parts Superstore - Infiniti Accessories and Parts for sale online for a discount.

If so, what are your impressions/thoughts of this? What material is this cargo protector/mat made of?

It is 'thin feeling' but it works just fine for what it does. I'd have preferred it a bit to have been rubber like the all weather mats but it's fine for what it does because it is more important for me that it goes up and down with the rear seats. I've bought bags of soil, fertilizer and stones at Home Depot and after coming home, a quick vacuuming made them look new again.

Here are some pics I took of mine:

Thanks… I’ll have to check out the pics later (can’t seem todisplay them on my computer). For me, Iplan on using the trunk for groceries (every weekend), strollers (frequent),lawn/gardening materials (seasonal/occasional), beach/swim gear (seasonal/occasional),luggage (occasional), and hockey/snowboarding gear (seasonal/occasional), homeimprovement materials (very occasional).
And I am considering the Weathertech liner too, but don’tthink it easily supports the 3rd row seat config that I’ll be using(i.e., 3rd row seats up sometimes or split).
Other than vacuuming the Infiniti Cargo mat to rid dirt/debris,does it need to be washed/rinsed also or could it be wiped down aftervacuuming?

Paradox,

Thanks again for the pics... and of your pics, it seems the rear portion of the mats slide forward when you put down the 3rd row seats. Does the rear portion of the mat not stay in place? Does Velcro exist only on the parts attached to the back of the 3rd row seats or is there Velcro on the rear/flat portion?

TSK
I have the exact same rear liner. The part that attaches to the seatbacks is Velcroed place, the lower half is not. The liner does not move, it stays securely in place. I am glad I purchased it, I have no complaints.

Yes, only the part that attaches to the seatbacks has velcro on it, but the other part not having it isn't a problem to be honest. It's actually better it doesn't IMO, for one reason, if you need to get to the handle to open the 'floor' for access to the bin underneath it lifts up easy to get to the handle.
What is the underside like in the rear trunk portion? If it's flat, then perhaps I can add on a few Velcro pieces to help keep it down for the most part.

And does anybody know if the Weathertech full liner is flexible enough to easily fold when the 3rd row seats are up?
Somebody actually posted a picture of the full size cargo mat on the JX. The picture showed it folded up with the third row seat in the up position. He used the side clips (used for holding town the cargo cover) to clip the WeaterTech mat in the up position.

Here is the picture from the JX forum: http://www.infinitijxforum.com/showthread.php/674-Cargo-Mats/page5

I have both full and small cargo mats and IMO, wouldn't waste the money on the smaller mat. The only time I use it is when I have passengers in the third row seats. The mat fits fine, but to me, isn't worth the money.
