Cabin Air Filter - What's the Part Number?

8018 Views 4 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  InfinitiFan
I'm about to buy a replacement cabin air filter, but it looks like there are two numbers, one for the "base" vs the "touring pkg".

Base (272773JC1A) is $15.58
Touring Pkg (272773JC2A) is $39.00

Anyone know the difference between the two? I have a loaded JX35 but I don't recall getting the "touring package".

I believe the more expensive one is higher MERV which basically means it removes more things smaller in size at the microscopic level.

Edit: The more expensive one says this about it ---> "Nissan/Infiniti has developed a new type of high-performance filter using the anti-allergenic properties of natural grape seed polyphenol. The new filter is significantly more efficient in eliminating allergens that are the cause of pollen allergy"

Good for people who suffer from allergies, which is a good portion of folks.

Thanks for the additional details. I guess I'll go with the more expensive version since I'm assuming that's what's installed at the dealership for $99.
I hope it is what's installed from the factory, is there anyone here that can confirm it is what's installed from the factory?
