Put on a hitch about $100-150 etrailer.com they also sell racks. Mounting to the hatch door really sux on a vehicle like this and it is too tall for roof top racks(that are too expensive) all in hitch and hitch rack less than $500 install less than 30minutes with two sets of hands.
Another vote for hitch mount. If your car is leased, get an aftermarket hitch installed for $400-450. If you own it and plan to keep it a long time, get the dealer to install it but ask for no wiring harness if they'll do that (it will save money, assuming you aren't going to tow anything). The dealer install is cleaner and nicer looking, plus doesn't hang down under the bumper.
If you're in Norcal, I have a hitch mount bike rack I'd sell pretty cheap to get it out of my garage.
Here you go plenty of pictures on the page, very easy to install with the car either flat on the ground or on ramps. Two sets of hands to lift it into place and start the bolts is helpful but not required. At the price shown you can be all in for $400 or less .
