q50 has a feature where switching to drive puts avm on with front camera. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to get this working on qx60. Parking forward is pretty much the only way to park in fl. I would not mind using the camera button but it is locked to snail speeds of 4mph or so and shuts off if going faster. Makes this feature completely useless. I have been looking around for help but so far, zero actual answers.

You could install the bypass kit from carkitcompany. I installed it in my qx60 and it does work. What you would do is once installed and want to activate the arc at any speed just press the button which makes the vehicle think you are doing 0mph and then the cameras including the rear can be activated at any speed. That will also allow for entering of phone numbers etc and entering of nav destinations while at speed as well. Activating it will un-grey the buttons on the screen making them usable. Once done,you can press the button to make the car to back to knowing it is at speed.

It comes with a remote key fob you can use to press buttons or you can also assign those buttons to free buttons on your home link on the rear view mirror.

Yes, I have that kit installed. First of all, that kit is awesome. No more fumbling should and excuses when wife tries to change settings on bluetooth connections going from one device to another.

However, that kit only does the reverse camera + around view monitor. It is definitely an improvement but would really like to see the front camera+avm. I've asked the owner of the company for help. He said he would take a look but no answer after that, I'll have to follow up.

Hmm, I'll have to try it now in mine. I was thinking if you activated the speed sensor thing and then hit the camera button on the dash it would let you see the front and avm at the same time. It lets you do that at low speed in any qx60 right, so hitting the speed thing just opens it up to higher speeds. I could be wrong or maybe I am thinking different modes than you.
