So I’m at 188,100miles or 300k km for our north of the border friends. I am still quite happy with my QX, it has been very reliable as well as economical (23.2mpg last 8500mi) Failures: Early on the cooling fan shroud warped replaced free, end of noise. Rear AWD coupling, three times. Finally replaced under warranty at 187k miles with 2-weeks of CPO warranty left. Each previous repair they just cleaned connections and soaked the warranty, it lasted 60k each time. Finally done right, I think, this time. Everything still works the way it was supposed too, best owner addition UNavi CarPlay. Should reach 200k in about 4 months.

Interesting that the rear coupling could be revived with soaking/cleaning the connections. I'd try that since I only have the powertrain warranty remaining on my '19 AWD QX60. However, touch wood, my rear coupling seems fine.
Same for my 2013… fingers crossed/touching wood. It’s good to know and test before heading to the dealer for diagnosis.

There is a TSB on the coupling Infiniti should take care of it.

I'm only concerned if this rear coupling fails after warranty. I am very interested, and I know others that feel the same about what your dealer did in the soaking of connectors process? Did they dismantle the coupling and clean internal connections while it sat on a mechanics workbench then re-assemble and re-install on the QX60? or is this just unplug the electrical connection to the rear coupling and spray with contact cleaner & reconnect and call it a day?

Clearly if you can get a fairly long time by doing this "soaking" it sure beats the $$ cost of replacement either inside or outside of warranty.
