2023 QX60 Interior middle control panel lighting issue

Right from the start, we had some issues regarding the setup of various controls. I blamed myself. It wasn't me. 1 or 2 "updates" seemed to cure some of the issues. But 1 is really bad and has not been fixed. The illumination for the middle control panel (contains temperature controls etc) has a mind of its own. When headlights are on "auto" the panel illumination is sometimes bright, then switches to dim and will even switch off (so I can't see 90% of the controls!). These occurrences have nothing to do w changes in the outside/daylight/natural lighting. They are random. When I turn the headlights to "off", the panel illuminates in full, brightly and beautifully. But I can't drive around w my headlights off! Dealer has admitted they see this same or very similar panel lighting issue in other 2023s. It has been 3 months, and 4000+ miles, w no solution. Now they are hoping Infiniti will tell them how to override the sensors and/or the switches (or whatever) and just lock in the panel illumination at full brightness. ??? Anyone else experiencing this issue w a 2023? Thoughts? Ideas? Thanks.

I just got mine, 2023 production model and don't have this issue. The panel illuminate beautifully during the day and it dims at night just like any other car I had, it dims, the cluster and center console dims as well and headlights goes on when set to Auto at night. I can also change the brightness of the cluster screen from the +/- buttons near cluster on the right as well as the Nav screen(there is day/night button to toggle and +/- shows on the screen after I press the day/night button). Also, I can press this button (day/night ) to switch to day mode which makes the nav screen and center console to full brightness without affecting the headlight or anything else. Try this day/night button at night while your lights are set to Auto and see how it goes. after you press it a +/- bas will show up on top of the screen for few seconds, you may quickly press + to increase brightness. My car doesn't have any flows but the rear climate control unit which doesn't seem to be consistent and blows cold air while its 39 F outside, loud fan on Auto since its not heating so the fan doesn't eventually settle to low speed! front works fine its just the rear.

I am experiencing the same problem, and unfortunately, there is currently no solution available
