The new 2023 comes with free maintenance/oil changes for 30k/3 years. The oil change window for the 2023 QX60 is between 3.3k (severe) and 8.3k (standard). Does anyone know if the maintenance agreement covers both Severe and Standard?

Read the actual paperwork for the maintenance agreement. They should state it on there. If not, then err on the safe side and do your oil change at 3.3k. This forum is full of complaints from owners where Infiniti refuses to cover warranty repair defects because they got their oil changed too late.

Unfortunately, Infiniti didn't provide detailed paperwork. Kinda strange. Here are the details from a random Infiniti website:

The biggest concern is the 3-oil changes spread over 30k miles. I've never waited 10k miles to change oil, seems very excessive and ripe for potential filure for long term ownership (aka, after warranty is over).

Hey Yeller, you finally get a 2023?

10,000 miles is not unusual if Infiniti uses a full Synthetic motor oil like mobile one. What does the owners Manuel state?

For comparison, my Pilot (that replaced my QX60) came with a similar 2 years/ 24 months free maintenance. Honda uses a percent oil life computer. It calculates the remaining oil life based on mileage, temperature, engine speed, etc, and the warranty calls for changing the oil when the meter reads 15% oil life left. Honda uses full synthetic oil, and my first oil change occurred at about 8500 miles on a new engine.

My GLE requires an oil change every 10,000 miles using mobile one. I have it changed at~9,500 miles.

So with the full synthetic oils, an oil change every 10,000 miles is becoming the new standard.
