I just purchased a 2018. It had the airbag light on and passenger OFF light on the console stayed on. Today they just replaced the sensor under the passenger seat. When I got in the car, the light was off, but the seat belt like now stays on. It goes off when the passenger seatbelt is engaged. So, I think it is the pressure sensor in the passenger seat. I’m assuming it’s different than the airbag sensor they just replaced? This was a Ford dealership and they said they thought it stays on, but that’s definitely false. Wondering if it’s worth fighting or just deal with it since it does goes off when the belt is buckled.
Does anyone know how hard it is to replace myself?
