Recently bought a 2015 QX60 at a price too good to pass up. One question remains though, are any of the 2016 QX60 redesign features swappable onto the 2015 model?

Here is the List (from what I can remember from the top of my head)

Exterior:
-Front Headlights
-Rear Taillights
-Side Mirrors (w/ turn signals)
-Fog Light Trim
-Front Grill

Interior:
Shift Knob

I suspect the Front Headlights, Rear Taillights, and the Shift Knob might be easy to swap out? The side mirrors might need wiring for the turn signals. The Fog Lights might need a new front bumper/fender swap. The front grill would have to be measured and might not fit exactly without a new bumper.

All I'm really looking for is if anyone would know if the front and rear taillights of the 2016 would fit on a 2015 model without any major modification/wiring?

I'm in the same boat. The deals on the 2015 was too good to avoid. But I do the exterior look of the 2016. The grill and DRLs are a nice addition.

But I did read somewhere that the front glass are different to better insulate noise. Not sure if those are swap-able but it should right?

While you guys are looking for aesthetics I'm more interested in the suspension. Actually very curious as to what they changed about the suspension. We bought ours a couple years ago. We love it other than the handling being a little sloppy.

I was thinking of going OEM with 2016/2017 suspension parts or aftermarket which I almost impossible to find.

I want to start with
Stiffer .Sway bars
Stiffer control arms
Tighter shocks if the others don't do justice

Sanjman,

If you want to the car to handle better put on bigger tires I am currently running 265 50 20 on she drive a lot better then stock 235. only bad thing I notice is gas mileage will suffer .. I am getting 19.2 mpg on the normal mode and 17.5 on eco .. That is the price you pay if you want the car to handle better. you can check out https://tiresize.com/calculator/ that will show you how much side walls you are getting and losing ..

In my case the cost was cheaper to get new bigger tires vs 2016 suspension upgrade .. Perhaps down the road I will upgrade the suspension when these wear down.

Or we all could just go get a 2017 and not do any work on :) but what would be the fun in that right.. plus mine is pay off and I don't want to go spend another 40k and up on the same car..

update on the front end conversion

price is still too high for the upgrade, I am still needing grille , fog lights bumper cover, will see what I can do after I get the okay from the boss it is her car :)

_615: I'm not sure about switching to 20" wheels. Check out if with bigger wheels if the brakes are different? Only a thought. When ordering a car with larger wheels from the Factory, it may have different suspension and brake parts...??

got2lovme9 - your front end conversion links to an amazon page? so i just need confirmation, are the 2016 front headlamps/rear taillights a plug and play swap for 2013-15? I just bought a 2014 qx60 hybrid and the front headlamps suck from a aesthetic/drl/light output perspective.
