Hello everyone. New member. Thinking of buying a 2015 hybrid (I have previously owned two other hybrid cars) so I called my local dealer and spoke to a shop person who didn't have any comments on the expected life of the hybrid battery since 'we never see them come in'. Does anyone have any info regarding this? Life expectancy of the battery, replacement options/costs etc? Much appreciated.

I have a 2014 hybrid with 85K and it's still going strong. I'm not aware of anyone having to replace one yet due to age. The battery should last 10+ years. According to repair pal, the average cost for an Infiniti QX60 hybrid high voltage battery replacement with a new one is between $3,852 and $3,950. Labor costs are estimated between $374 and $472 while parts are priced at $3,478. You can get a used one on eBay for $1200 or less.
