I hope this is the correct place to post this...

We are looking at a Loaded 2014 AWD QX60 with an MSRP of $59,550. As I said, it has about everything. It is NOT a Hybrid.

Anyway, the dealer seems "proud" of the fact that he can offer $2,100 off MSRP! After all, he only has 48 QX60's left (plus 8 hybrids)! On other parts of this site people seem to get $5,000 + off on lesser equipped cars.

So, based on this...and, of course, I will not buy at that price, I have to ask...

Is there any reason to wait a bit longer for the 2015? Are there any "fixes" or new options that will be in the 2015?

I ask as there seems to be issues on the Q50 in that forum, but I see little in the way of complaints on the 2014 QX60 and the only possible issue may be the announced change to the CVT. I would hate to push this dealer for a very good deal on the 2014 in stock only to wish I paid a bit more for the 2015.

Again, I hope this is the correct part of the forum to post this.

Depending on when you are looking to do this, the 2015's won't be out until end of this year since there are so many 2014's left. As for changes, there has been no major changes other than colors that we know of so far. You should definitely be able to get the price of the car down more unless you are in an area with one dealership and they have very few full loads left. Also, if you are on a rare color combo, they may be able to get you to pay more because in order to get another they would have to ship it anyways.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thank you. Hey, we are not too far from each other as I am in Portland. No rare color as this one is Moonlight White and I think that is going away in 2015. Not our favorite color. Anyway, just would the Invoice be on a $59,000+ car?.

We have about a 6% mark up, so I would say about $55460 or so. If they won't go under their first offer, feel free to pm me!
Thank you so much. In fact when I posted my last reply I was going to suggest that you PM me if you did not want to post an answer. However the site only allows an edit for a limited time. I WILL let you know what happens. Anyway, some have said that the 2015 is adding a change in the CVT, and for that reason the 2014 may not be a bad way to go!

Ya, there has been some talk about changing it, but nothing is for sure yet. The 2014's will be going on clearance as well once the 2015's start landing.

OK, what the heck is Enhanced D-step shift logic electronically controlled continuously variable transmission?
A bunch of garbage to reduce your feeling of having a CVT.

I am not a great fan of Nissan/Infiniti CVT - but the fact that I get better mileage (by 20%) on my QX60 compared to my M35x, I could care less if it doesn't behave like an actual 7 spd or whatever. I just got 24 mpg again on my last fill-up. My m35x never gets above 20, mind you it is 8 years old with almost 100k miles.

I am also in the market for a 14 QX60 FWD. Here in Texas so probably not worth getting the AWD. Do you think the best time to buy is now towards the end of this month or wait until SEPT to get a better deal since they are bringing the 2015 in October?

I would say the end of the month is definitely the best time. As for the 2015's coming out, I do not know if we will get any extra incentive, so this is a hard question to answer. I'm sure they will be more willing to let the 2014's go for a little cheaper, but it is hard to say since there are no huge differences. The 2014's are selling like hot cakes, so if you can find one that you like for a good price, I would take it before it gets sold.

Looking to lease a 2014 QX60 with Premium package. My local dealer only offer me the national deal. which is $459 + tax with initial $3499. and 10k per year. if I get the car this month.

But I can wait till Oct or even Nov. what do you guys think? will I get any better number at that time?

This would all depend on what exactly you are looking for and how many are out there. I would say that if you are on a common package and color, you can wait until the new ones come out. But if you are in an area with very few dealers on a rare color combo or package, negotiate with them and they should come down. We have not heard of any incentives we will get when the new ones come out yet, but @InfinitiFan is correct if there are a bunch of them out there.

I am not keeping the car after 36 or 39 months lease, so any color combo will work for me! I guess I will wait till Oct and check out the dealer again. is good to know 2015 will be available around Oct and is no big change.

I am easy on options, Premium package or premium plus will all work for me. But I must need is AWD, which here in NYC they are all AWD in the dealer lot. if they have a 2014 fully loaded with theater and deluxe tech package and the offer is good, i will take it!
