    Planned to use my QX60 (2019) to tow a rental Airstream Basecamp 16' (GVWR only 3,500 lbs) but the owner urged me to install a brake controller. According to the manual, the QX60's towing capacity is 5k lbs. Is it really necessary to install a brake controller in order to tow a 3500 lbs trailer...
